Our partner in food rescue
As a grocery provider, we're acutely aware that food waste is a contributor to a number of societal and climate problems in the US. In an effort to achieve zero percent food waste from our warehouses, Gorillas partners with a number of community-based organizations all over NYC to redistribute rescued food to community fridges.
One Love, one of our first partners, covers nearly all of our Brooklyn warehouses and redistributes food to 20 community fridges in NYC. They aim to create a circular pattern of community involvement, paired with education and only provide food that they would find on their dinner tables.
