A well-deserved bonus for everyone at Gorillas’ core functions: The rider and warehouse crew.
When we raised our Series B funding, we agreed with our investors that we would give something back to those who make the Gorillas customer experience so magical: the community of riders and warehouse staff. We decided to distribute $1M across everyone working in the warehouses or as riders! As a thank you to our OG crew members, we based the bonus amount on tenure, so that those who joined early on received more than a month’s full time salary.
The crew’s determination, strength, and support is part of the magical recipe behind Gorillas and we know it.
However, the monetary reward is just a gesture of appreciation, but that is not all! Gorillas is not a delivery firm built by business people, we are a business built by delivery people. Everything we do is developed with the riders and every step we take begins with them. It remains our mission to build a strong and diverse community who are proud to be a part of Gorillas, whilst we provide them with a fair compensation, the best tools and processes to make riding feel more like sports rather than work—fun, energizing and collaborative.
