DOUGLAS and Gorillas receive German Brand Award for instant beauty shopping experience

Berlin, June 14th 2022 - DOUGLAS, Europe’s leading platform for premium beauty, and Berlin instant delivery pioneer Gorillas have received the German Brand Award in gold in the category »Excellent Brands: Trade, Retail & e-Commerce« for their limited trade partnership in Hamburg. As part of the cooperation, 25 exclusive beauty and lifestyle products from the DOUGLAS range were available in the Gorillas app during last year's Christmas business season. Supported by different customer activation campaigns, both companies created a new type of instant beauty shopping experience that has convinced consumers and the German Brand Award jury alike.

The award was given to DOUGLAS and Gorillas today at the German Brand Convention in Berlin. The renowned industry prize is awarded annually by a jury of specialists, which honors outstanding brand successes in over 60 categories. For DOUGLAS and Gorillas, this award means a recognition of a new type of instant beauty shopping experience, one in which customers have nearly immediate access to a range of selected gifts and everyday products such as perfume, cosmetics and make-up as well as candles and home accessories. As part of their partnership during the 2021 Christmas season, both companies launched different exclusive campaigns for Gorillas customers and delighted them with renowned DOUGLAS brands and premium fragrances from Mercedes-Benz and ANNAYAKE, which were also available via the Gorillas app in just a few minutes.
