ABOUT PETER

His story

Peter is from our Angel warehouse in the UK and has been with the team for a month now. Aside from being a rider at Gorillas, he’s also a content creator and is planning on heading to uni later this year.

How was your first day at Gorillas? It was interesting. I had to shadow someone just to get the gist of how to do the job. Funnily enough, because we use electric bikes, I did not switch on my bike so I was far behind him. I was wondering how he was able to go so fast not knowing that my bike was off. Later on, I was able to tell him what was happening, and he switched on the bike for me.

Tell us about your life outside of Gorillas? So what I like to do in my spare time is to create content; take photographs, and of course, edit my footage. In terms of the type of photography that I like to do, well, it really depends on the day. You know you might be walking down the street, you see some beautiful graffiti on the wall, you take a picture of it. So it really depends on the type of day and the type of photo opportunity that you have.

How is Gorillas supporting your long-term goals? My bigger goal or my bigger vision is to eventually be able to produce content on a larger scale. Whether be directing or just coming up with production. So, in order to achieve this what I plan to do is to go to university later this year and because Gorillas offers me the flexibility to be able to work and study at the same time, I will definitely be able to achieve that. Creating makes me happy, so whatever I create as long as it makes sense and people are able to watch it and enjoy it—I’m going to do that.
